Holiday in Madeira
A Holiday in Madeira? What a good idea!! So
off we went – but oh dear! The Hotel wasn’t all it should have
been and we were left wondering why we had come to Funchal! And then one summer
evening we saw the dogs on the traffic roundabout at about 9.00 p.m. –
there were about 20 of them – following one dog who crossed the road
leading them all to another patch of grass and barking every few minutes to
keep them in order! We could hardly believe it – such discipline! Waiting
for the traffic to stop at the lights! We still wanted another holiday in
Madeira so next time we found this lovely, privately owned, modern apartment
in Funchal at a very low cost, in which we stayed.
Madeira is a beautiful island, and well worth a visit. We highly recommend
