My Dog Cherry

Cherry is a liitle shy, if she doesn't know you very well,
It takes quite a while to gain her trust, and for the bond to really "gel".
Her affections are not so easily won, compared to my other three.
But her loyalty is worth the extra effort---you can definitly take that from me!

She might have preferred being my only dog (despite being fond of the other three).
Very quiet and gentle, protective and loyal----that is quite clear to see.
I hold you close when I feel like crying, and you "nuzzle" me and try to "mend".
You are my Guardian and my Comforter, and always my Faithful Friend.
